thinkSMALL Foundation trains and empowers local churches to reach, protect and disciple children. We use Gospel-based Drug Prevention and Child Protection outreaches and curriculum to bring children into an empowered life in Christ.
Since 2007, we have trained over 1,000 churches in 8 nations! As a result, over 421,000 children and adults have come to Christ...and over 380,000 have entered discipleship for the first time in their lives!
Recently thinkSMALL Chiang Mai trained several schools in northern Thailand on Drug Prevention. There were 654 students who attended and 608 of them received Jesus into their hearts and entered discipleship!
A certain amount of risk-taking is a normal part of adolescent development. The desire to try new things and become more independent is healthy, but it may also increase teens’ tendencies to experiment with drugs. The parts of the brain that control judgment and decision-making do not fully develop until people are in their early or mid-20s; this limits a teen’s ability to accurately assess the risks of drug experimentation and makes young people more vulnerable to peer pressure.
